Press releases and media relations that journalists actually read

We write news people want to publish, and send it to the specific reporters who cover your world. No spray-and-pray lists.

Media relations

Most press releases go straight to the bin. Here’s why ours don’t.

A journalist at a national daily can get hundreds of press releases a day. Most are about a company being ‘delighted to announce’ something nobody else cares about. They get deleted in seconds.

Our media relations work starts with the news, not the release. We find the part of your announcement a reader would care about, write it the way a reporter would, and pitch it personally to people whose beat it fits, with a short note on why.

When distribution makes sense, for example a funding round or an official statement, we also send your press release through wire and online distribution so it is indexed and searchable.

FAQ

Common questions

Still unsure? Ask us directly. We reply to every message.

What is press release distribution?

It means sending your press release through news wires and online newsrooms so it is published and indexed. It is good for being on record and for search visibility, but on its own it rarely leads to editorial stories. That’s why we pair it with personal pitching.

Can you publish in a specific regional language paper?

Yes. We pitch Hindi and other regional language media when your audience reads them, and can arrange translation of your press material.

How long does a press release take?

Writing and approval usually takes a few working days. Outreach starts as soon as you sign off. For time-sensitive news, tell us early and we will work to your date.

Will every journalist publish our story?

No, and nobody can promise that. Our job is to make it easy for the right journalists to say yes. You will see who we pitched and who responded.
